Alocasia Black Velvet Gold Variegated

Alocasia Black Velvet Gold Variegated is a jewel Alocasia TC with dark velvet leaves and gold variegation. It sells because the leaf surface looks premium in small pots once plants harden, and TC gives you more even starts than random offsets.

Jewel Alocasias dislike cold, wet feet, and sudden humidity crashes. Keep early grow-out humid and stable, then step down. Use a fine but airy mix and avoid leaving crowns soggy.

As with any variegated tissue culture, the amount and pattern of variegation varies from plant to plant and shows more clearly as leaves mature.

About import tissue culture

Alocasia Black Velvet Gold Variegated is part of our import TC catalog, so orders ship in scheduled import windows (usually every one to two weeks) rather than from U.S. stock on hand. You receive young lab-grown plantlets, not finished retail plants. Plan bench space for acclimation: keep new plantlets warm and humid at first, then lower humidity gradually over one to two weeks in bright, indirect light.

Ordering
